Anatomical Illumination for Your Home

— April 25, 2009 — Art & Design
Spine lamps have split my mind into two: On one hand, they look amazing; on the other, they’re a bit twisted and not great to have in your bedroom to inspire nightmare-free dreams.

Anatomical lighting is not an uncommon idea, but Street Anatomy managed to pull together three of the best designs out there. I am not sure why, but seeing the spine in gold really sends shivers down mine.

Implications - In the last few years, contemporary society has placed an increased importance on originality and ingenuity in design and fashion. A company can capitalize on this by developing a product that is both practical and novel. By providing consumers with an alternative to the standard everyday product, the company stands a good chance of attracting customers seeking a little spice and difference in their lives.
