Priestmangoode Opts for an Upgrade for South African Airlines

— March 17, 2014 — Art & Design
Those thinking about flying with South African Airways can now ride in style thanks to Priestmangoode. The designers opted for a traditional look in the new interiors of the narrow, 320 passengers aircrafts, with luxe leather seating and a hint at traditional craftsmanship.

It's not often that one flies on such a fashionable aircraft, as "fashionable" is not the first word that comes to mind when thinking about the inside of a plane. However, Priestmangoode breaks down these notions and demonstrates that it is possible to provide a fashion-forward aesthetic for certain airlines. The goal for the redesign is to encourage more people to fly with South African Airways, now that the interiors have been upgraded with a little extra comfort.
