LED Motorcycle Helmets

The Sotera Helmet by Joe Doucet Features an LED Lightbar for Safety

Joe Doucet designs a new motorcycle helmet that is sleek in design and performance ready entitled the 'Sotera.' It pays attention to security when it comes to its overall design, ensuring that it is completely safe without disrupting the stylistic approach as well.

The Sotera incorporates a special LED light that is directly connected to an accelerometer built into the helmet itself. The exterior of the piece is constructed from both polycarbonate and Kevlar materials, and it turns the color red when the biker brakes, replicating the vehicles on the road. It then turns white when accelerated as well, bringing more attention to the action. When the wearer is resting, the LED light automatically turns off.
