The Snowscape Cabinet created by design duo Junpei and Iori Tamaki is inspired by small snowflakes, which are incorporated into the piece. The front of the cabinet has hexagonal holes, resembling these snowy crystals, and adding in a bit of extra pizzazz to the standard cabinet.
Instead of opening outward, the cabinets slide open, allowing people to store multiple objects inside. Moreover, when the cabinets are slide open, the hexagonal holes on both sides overlap, making the design appear even more like snow crystals. This piece would be ideal to go in a bedroom to store books, or could even be placed in the living area for extra space for putting things away. No matter where it is placed, the Snowscape Cabinet will remind users of winter.
