Sneaker-Shaped Coffins

Paa Joe Designed the Ultimate Resting Place for Extreme Sneakerheads

Paa Joe, an artist from Ghana that's most widely known for his fantasy coffin designs, recently came out with an iteration that's perfect for the modern sneaker lover, a sneaker-shaped coffin that's made to look like the iconic Air Max 95.

Currently, the coffin can be seen in Berlin, at the Mixed Pickles exhibition. The sneaker-shaped coffin is complete with all of the Air Max 95's typical details, including the wavy stripes on the sides of the uppers, texturing on the midsoles, transparent bubble-like components, and branding on the tongues.

The coffin was created back in 2004, but has amassed plenty of popularity as it's toured through different exhibitions. Those interested in purchasing the art piece can get it for just over 10,000 EUR.
