In the short film, four blind people are given the new smile detection app. The platform uses facial recognition technology to cause a smartphone to vibrate when a smile appears in its viewfinder. Using the smile detection app, the film's subjects are able to once again experience the smiles of the people around them. In a final joyful moment, they are shown the smile of a close loved one.
