Skittles Giants are Three-Times Larger Than the Original Candy

The Skittles Giants have been announced by Mars Wrigley as a new product that maintains a large profile and offers a different kind of texture experience. The candy is three-times larger than the original version and features a soft, chewy middle that's contained within the crispy candy exterior the product is renowned for. The product will come in 45 gram single packs, PMP treat bag, a 141 gram value pouch and a 170 gram grocery pouch priced at 49p, £1, £1 and £1.49, respectively.

Portfolio Director Victoria Gell spoke on the new product saying, "We’re thrilled to announce the launch of new Skittles Giants, a product that we feel satisfies shoppers’ desire for variety, whilst delivering true innovation. Consumer testing has been hugely positive and through our media and in-store support we are aiming to generate huge excitement, that will drive purchase. I can’t wait for people to try them!”
