The Sjotorget Kindergarten by Rotstein Arkitekter Drives Creativity
Jana Pijak — November 8, 2013 — Art & Design
The Sjotorget Kindergarten by Rotstein Arkitekter is located in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. Stimulating creativity and educational play among its young students, this color-infused space features a range of geometric design details that catch one's eye.
The modular interior features a variety of both open and closed spaces that allow its inhabitants to learn while using their imagination and having fun. When designing this space, the Rotstein Arkitekter team aimed to create a playful environment that would encourage and inspire the creativity of children. The team accomplished their goal with the use of bold colors that are each designated for a certain department.
Using bright blues, greens, pinks and a consistant yellow within its play hut, the Sjotorget Kindergarten is filled with fun spaces for its curious students.
