Shepard Fairey and Modernica Create Limited Edition Dowel Chairs

Design studio Modernica worked with the talented Shepard Fairey and Beyond The Streets for a new collaborative furniture piece. The three came together in creating a limited edition 'Side Shell Dowel Chair' with only 500 pieces in construction. Each one boasts decoration of graphic motifs that represent Shepard Fairey's signature artistic style. Fairey states that when presented with the opportunity to design a custom version of the classic chair, he chose to implement collage-style patterns that recall his artwork. This way, it showcases his iconic imagery, while also paying homage to the traditional pattern design.

The chair boasts a simple monochromatic color palette of white and black hues with the design pattern printed on. The collaborative furniture piece is now available for purchase exclusively at Beyond the Streets.
