The Sheikh Zayed Bridge designed by Zaha Hadid Architects is set to be built in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of UAE. The many projects that this Gulf country has taken up are simply a hint at the growing structures and monuments that are developing all over the world. With 842 meters in length, this design is a two-way, four-lane highway that will connect to the Gulf shore. Steel structures rise from the piers and create strong support for the highway.
So once the project is complete and if you ever take a trip down to the Middle East, the Sheikh Zayed Bridge will be a must-see. Who knows, Tom Cruise might film his next movie there too.
