Chef Nouel Catis, the original creator of Dubai Chocolate, launched a decadent new treat, Abu Dhabi Chocolate that has the potential to become the next global sensation. This indulgence takes the form of a 24-karat edible gold flaked bar infused with saffron, cardamom, dates, tahini, and halwa, all enrobed in salted-caramel chocolate.
"The flavor profile was built to reflect the soul of the city," Chef Nouel Catis shared on Instagram. "Saffron and cardamom, deep, aromatic, and timeless. Tahina and dates, smooth, earthy, and rooted in local tradition. Nostalgic crunch, a texture that recalls cherished memories." Altogether, this combination of ingredients was chosen to express the warmth and cultural richness of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Chocolate was created in collaboration with Rain Café, where it is exclusively available.
