Social Series-Sharing Updates

Instagram Users Can Now Share Netflix Shows in Their Stories

Although users have been able to share Netflix shows to various social channels for some time now, the powerhouse streaming service has officially upped the ante. Thanks to a new partnership with Instagram, users will now be able to share Netflix shows directly to their Instagram stories through an in-app menu.

Capitalizing on the ever-increasing popularity of Instagram stories, this new feature will allow users to share cover art from the Netflix title of their choosing right to their profile, with customization options courtesy of Instagram's story tools. These stories will also link back to the actual Netflix titles for viewers, making it easier than ever to follow through on your friends' recommendations.

Netflix's new Instagram story feature will see a preliminary launch within its mobile app on iOS, with an Android version currently in the works.
