Devin Wilde Designs the History-Honoring Series No. II

— May 13, 2025 — Art & Design
Ceramicist Devin Wilde presented his first collection of ceramic furniture, which is dubbed Series No. II and drops just after his inaugural launch. The design intention behind this and its function of it reflect the beauty that is seen in paintings and photographs, which nods to its artist. There are four main silhouettes in the range, including five side of end tables and three that are designed for cocktail service.

Wilde speaks about the design, “The aesthetic of Greek and Roman classicism, specifically as it relates to the ceremonious, is central to my aesthetic and evermore present in this collection. The dimension of these pieces lends itself perfectly to creating altars. I wanted to design artifacts that could be part of daily rituals, an integral component of the home.”
