Connected Note-taking Devices

Amazon Send to Alexa+ Brings Notes To Alexa from Compatible E-Reader

Amazon introduced a new feature called Send to Alexa+ for the current-generation Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, featuring direct sharing of notebooks and documents to the Alexa+ AI assistant. The rollout, announced after the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft debut last fall, makes handwritten and typed content accessible across Amazon platforms.

Once notes are sent, Alexa+ can surface them on Alexa.com, the Alexa app and compatible Echo and Fire TV devices, with capabilities including summarizing notes, creating to-do lists and adding calendar items or reminders. The feature is available to Prime members and Alexa+ subscribers and integrates the Scribe’s document workflow with broader Alexa services.

For consumers, Send to Alexa+ turns a standalone e-writer into a hub for voice-driven productivity, streamlining follow-up tasks and cross-device access. The update underscores a growing trend of bringing voice AI into everyday workflows to reduce friction between capture and action.
