The 'Treasure Truck' Will Drive Around Seattle Selling Discount Goods

Amazon has launched a 'Treasure Truck' that will drive around the city of Seattle selling discount goods to consumers. Starting on June 27th, Seattle residents will be able to purchase unique and heavily discounted items from the roaming Treasure Truck.

The Treasure Truck will drive around the city for several days each week and offer consumers the opportunity to purchase items from its rotating inventory. In order to see what the Treasure Truck is carrying and where it will be each day, customers will have to log on to the new Amazon Shopping app. The Treasure Truck will be selling discount goods that may range from items such as inflatable paddle-boards to porterhouse steaks.

The purpose behind the campaign is to encourage people to download the Amazon app, while also giving the company an opportunity to test out a new kind of local delivery service.
