Speedy eCommerce Produce Deliveries

'Amazon Same-Day Delivery' is now being offered by the eCommerce brand for fresh produce as part of its initiative to accelerate access to groceries for customers. The new delivery option for fresh groceries will be offered to Prime members in more than 1,000 locations and requires customers to place an order for $25 or more. The delivery option will offer access to a wide range of grocer items like dairy, meat, produce and frozen foods alongside items customers have come to expect from Amazon like household essentials, fashion items, electronics and more.

CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores Doug Herrington spoke on the Amazon Same-Day Delivery update saying, "We’re continuously innovating to make grocery shopping simpler, faster and more affordable for our customers, especially Prime members. By introducing fresh groceries into our Same-Day Delivery service, we’re creating a quick and easy experience for customers. They can order milk alongside electronics; oranges, apples and potatoes with a mystery novel; and frozen pizza at the same time as tools for their next home improvement project—and check out with one cart and have everything delivered to their doorstep within hours.”
