Amazon introduced Amazon Now in Manchester, expanding its ultra-fast grocery and household delivery service beyond London for the first time. Available through the Amazon app and website, the service delivers thousands of products in approximately 30 minutes or less to eligible postcodes across Central and East Manchester.
Amazon Now operates seven days a week and offers products across 35 categories, including milk, eggs, fresh produce, nappies, pet treats, toothpaste and over-the-counter medicines. The selection also features familiar brands such as Kellogg’s, PG Tips and Warburtons. Prime members receive discounted delivery fees starting at £1.99 and free delivery on orders over £20.
For convenience-focused consumers, the expansion provides faster access to everyday essentials without a supermarket trip. The launch reflects Amazon’s strategy of placing inventory closer to customers and positioning rapid fulfilment as an increasingly important retail differentiator.
