Linn's New 'Selekt DSM: Edition Hub' is for Serious Audiophiles

High-end electronics company Linn has unveiled the new 'Selekt DSM: Edition Hub,' a sleek new music player that features notable upgrades, both aesthetically and functionally.

The device features a wave-like vent across the aluminum lid that both look impressive and supports the unit's compact thermal management system, which works to counter its fully machined construction.

Aesthetically, the Selekt DSM has a black or silver anodized finish and a turn-steel control dial, the latter of which lends the machine a more tactile feel. In addition, the dial is illuminated with hundreds of LEDs that change whenever the volume is adjusted. Meanwhile, Linn's in-house Utopik power supply allows for efficient energy consumption and an extra-long-lasting battery charge. And the device's front fascia is made of a mirrored spyglass.
