With Valentine's Day approaching, many men are likely worried about how they are going to get an engagement ring through airport security -- luckily, there is a secret code for that. East Midlands Airport in the United Kingdom wants to help people proposing to sneak engagement rings through security without arousing suspicion from their partners or creating an embarrassing situation.
The secret code can be obtained from East Midlands Security before your trip. When spoken to a security staff member, you will be directed to a separate lane and away from your significant other. This sort of practice will serve to keep proposals a surprise. The airport's Head of Security Matthew Quinney says "Arguably, there are more romantic places to be proposed to than in our security hall."
