Aldi unveiled its Christmas advert for the 2025 holiday season and with it, the brand's mascot, Kevin the Carrot, proposed to his girlfriend, Katie the Carrot, prompting the creation of limited-edition Carrot gold engagement rings. Crafted in collaboration with Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery, the bespoke rings feature a carrot-shaped orange cubic zirconia, complemented by delicate marquise peridot accents.
According to research conducted on behalf of Aldi, 43% of people in the UK said they love novelty rings, because it's the meaning that matters most. Nearly one in five said they’d be content proposing, or being proposed to, with a novelty ring.
These limited-edition rings are only available as part of an exclusive shopper competition, and to enter, interested parties must share their festive proposal plans and detail why a carrot-shaped ring is perfect for their partner.
