The Romanian Auto Club Encourages Seat Belt Safety with Selfies

In order to raise awareness about seat belt safety and appeal to those who love to take selfies, The Romanian Auto Club set up a unique social campaign called #seatbeltb00bing.

The campaign involved asking women to take a picture of themselves wearing a seat belt and tag it with the appropriate hashtag, drawing attention to the seat belts in each photo. The social campaign was devised in response to the fact that about six out of ten drivers in Romania do not fasten their seatbelts when driving. So far, the Instagram campaign has taken off, with the help of hundreds of participants who have taken photos, we well as coverage of the campaign happening all over Europe.
