The year 2050 has been pinpointed as a time when our oceans will contain more plastic than fish if we continue on our current course, so the Sea2See Sunglasses are a new brand that looks to help deviate from this bleak future. The Barcelona-based brand has secured agreements with over 20 ports in Catalonia, Spain, which will help them to obtain tons of plastic waste from the ocean that it will then turn into the fashionable sunglasses seen here.

The plastic waste that the organization recovers that can't be turned into sunglasses is repurposed into other useful items like nylon threading with 90% of what they recover being able to be recycled. The Sea2See Sunglasses acknowledge the growing concern for the seas and how organizations are responding by creating feel good fashions for conscious consumers.
