Speedo Unveils its New Ocean Flex Swimwear Collection

Speedo has launched Ocean Flex, a new swimwear line made with Hyosung TNC’s recycled textile technology, reinforcing the brand’s push toward more sustainable performance gear.

The collection features an 80/20 blend of Hyosung’s regen™ Ocean nylon, created from discarded fishing nets, and regen™ Spandex, both certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS). The range aims to reduce environmental impact without compromising the quality and durability for which Speedo is known.

“We’ve long valued our partnership with Speedo and are proud that such an iconic brand – synonymous with swim and committed to protecting our waters – has chosen our certified recycled textile innovation for its Ocean Flex swimwear range," said Laura Nilo, Hyosung US Marketing Manager, West Coast Lead.
