Architecture firm SDeG is based in India, and after seeing far too many homes built in the same, grid-like manner, the team focused on building an abode to challenge these norms. Hence, the S-House was built to go against all of those straight edges in the surrounding areas.
From the outside the house looks very futuristic, with tinted windows and bulges in areas one would not normally see in the everyday structure. Since the house was built in an already compact section of the neighbourhood, the piece of architecture is more vertical in nature than horizontal. From the inside the house looks quite stark, with a minimalist design aesthetic and white look. Stairs are placed jutting out of the walls and wrapping around the inside of the house.
