These ads for Scrabble are quite clever, going to show how different people's minds can create very different results from the same possibilities.

The first image shows the letter G, D and O and depicts a dog portrayed as if he were a god. Another shows an image of a Da Vinci-style art rat, and a third image plays on the words gum and mug.

It was created by ad agency Ogilvy, Hungary.

Implications - Plays on words were once considered cheesy by many people within mass society, and yet their use has helped to produce some of the wittiest marketing and advertising campaigns in recent years. The appropriate use of plays on words can help companies appear both humorous as well as in touch with popular culture.
