Tasty Edible Interiors

The New Scott Hove ‘Cakeland’ Exhibit is Sugary Sweet

In a new exhibit by Scott Hove aptly called ‘Cakeland,’ visitors have a chance to walk through grand hallways lined with pink, blue and green frosting, dart through archways bedecked with strawberries and cherries and even warm themselves in front of an artificial fireplace surrounded by sugary goodness.

Hove, however, has not simply created a fun exhibit for dessert lovers everywhere; through his creative artistic medium he has put forth a strong statement regarding American gun control. One section of the exhibit features automatic weapons covered in frosting and fruit, their pastel hues ironically off-setting their deadly intentions.

By using extremely memorable and original materials for his exhibition, Hove has produced a visually arresting installation that is both sweet and powerful.
