Museum of Ice Cream Undergoes Significant Renovations

— January 22, 2026 — Art & Design
Museum of Ice Cream has announced a significant renovation of its primary New York City location. The revamp introduces redesigned and newly created interactive environments within its multi-floor space.

The Museum of Ice Cream's update expands upon the venue's established formula of themed, photo-centric installations with additional areas for hands-on activity and exploration. Individuals can now visit new spaces like the Hall of Freezers, "where freezers open to secret rooms," and the hands-on, play-inspired kitchen termed 'Sundae House.' The renovations also boast an enlarged carnival-themed section, an infinite Banana Split Jungle, as well as an interactive, educational exhibit that expands on the history and science of ice cream.

The Museum of Ice Cream's refresh is framed as an evolution intended to enhance opportunities for social interaction and imaginative play for a diverse visitor demographic.
