T-Mobile launched a free anti-spam and caller ID feature, under the name 'Scam Shield.' "Scam Shield' while bea able to mark spam calls as 'scam likely' so users are immediately aware of incoming scam calls. T-Mobile customers will also have the ability to block all calls that the company marks as spam. Users can mage Spam Sheiel settings in an app that is available for both iPhone and Android devices, which will be released on July 24th.
The new features were made possible through STIR/SHAKEN technology that the company created previously this year.
Overall the new features may help to attract new customers, as spam calls are a common complaint shared between the majority of consumers.
