The Truecaller app is now providing users within the Apple product ecosystem with an even more powerful experience thanks to its ability to leverage the Live Caller ID Lookup feature introduced in iOS 18. The app update will enable iPhone users to enjoy a stronger level of certainty when it comes to receiving spam calls by increasing the accuracy by which it can recognize them. This is made possible through a new server architecture and a separate, encrypted database especially for iOS, which will enable the iPhone Phone app to make encrypted requests that are then decrypted in real-time to offer caller ID.
The updated Truecaller app for the iPhone can be used for free with ads, but is also available under the premium tier starting at $9.99 a month.
