AI-Powered Call Assistant Tools

Truecaller and Microsoft Relies on AI to Answer Calls

Caller ID company Truecaller works together with Microsoft to allow users to create an AI version of their voices to answer calls. The app secures users as it can detect and block spam calls and now, this is possible with the help of Microsoft's Azure AI speech tool.

It will learn from a recorded clip to then create an AI iteration of the user's unique voice. Product Director and General Manager at Truecaller, Raphael Mimoun notes in a blog post, “This groundbreaking capability not only adds a touch of familiarity and comfort for the users but also showcases the power of AI in transforming the way we interact with our digital assistants." Prior to this, users can always select from preset voices.
