A team of architecture studios join forces to create the Santa Tere Espacio. Firms Atelier TBD and Oficina de Diseño Colaborativo join heads with interior studio Maye Colab to honor San Miguel de Allende and the office mainly functions as a space to foster reading in the neighborhood. It is comprised of various meeting rooms, a bathrooms, central courtyard for the community, and a kitchenette.
The team explains the design concept, stating "Santa Tere Espacio emerged from the idea of creating architecture through renovation, reuse, repair, and repurposing. Based on the self-built essence of the neighbourhood, Office of Collaborative Design, TBD Atelier, and Maye Colab joined forces with a shared vision to propose a project that engages with the site's legacy."
