The Bangkok-based design firm Wide & Narrow recently developed chic and sustainable packaging for a Thai swimwear company called Sand & Salt. While the packaging is certainly minimalist, the soothing color palette and typewriter-style labeling convey the brand's roots as a laid-back men's lifestyle brand.
The packaging for Sand & Salt's e-commerce products consist of recyclable boxes stamped with the brand's name. Each garment is then fitted with a paper label in a soft color palette that "represents the time from sunset to sunrise and its reflection to the sea." These tags also feature the brand's circular landscape logo, which alludes to its Thai roots.
The minimalist packaging for Sand & Salt swimwear demonstrates how simple, yet contemporary designs can allow high-end products to speak for themselves.
