Sainsbury's Unveils Asian-Inspired Ready Meals Inspired by Popular Cuisines

Sainsbury’s is expanding its ready-meal lineup with a bold expansion into pan-Asian cuisine, introducing a series of dishes designed to bring vibrant, restaurant-style flavors straight to customers’ kitchens. The new mains span a broad mix of regional favorites, including Chicken Pad Thai Noodles, Beef Bibimbap, Indonesian Nasi Goreng, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Yaki Udon Noodles, and a Spicy Gochujang-Style Chicken Rice Bowl.

To complement the mains, Sainsbury’s is also rolling out an assortment of sides that encourage mixing, matching, and sharing. The lineup features Chilli Fried Chicken, Edamame Beans, Crispy Panko Prawns, a Fried Gyoza Selection, Teriyaki Vegetable Bao Buns, and a dip selection, offering everything from quick snacks to build-your-own meal components.

“Our new range of meals are inspired by some of the bold and vibrant flavours you’d expect in popular Japanese, Indonesian, Korean and Thai dishes, so our customers can easily enjoy the foods they want more of, without the expense of travelling or hassle of scratch cooking," said Katy Winterbottom, Sainsbury’s product developer.
