Hyundai Unveils the New Elevated S-A2 Air Taxi During CES

Hyundai introduced its new air taxi design concept in the form of the S-A2 during CES this year in Las Vegas. The electric design is meant to take off in the air and land eVTOL following the previous S-A1 model that was also unveiled during CES back in 2020.

The brand envisions the air taxi as a day-to-day transportation option in urban environments by efficiently brings travelers from one point to another swiftly and quicker than by car or bus. The cruising speed is 120mph at an altitude of 1,500 feet. It is meant to fly short distances between 25 to 40 miles. Other details include its right rotors and electric propulsion design that is claimed to operate "as quietly as a dishwasher."
