Sonos, a whole home audio company partnered with Rough Trade records to offer consumers the chance to enjoy music through the ages by completely surrounding themselves with it.
Sonos created an "an ode to the old-school record store culture" in the form of an Airbnb listing as part of a contest to celebrate the opening of its listening room inside Rough Trade. Two winners were chosen to stay inside the space and will be granted VIP access to any concert at the venue for an upcoming night, as well as a mini-fridge full of snacks. In addition to coming out with a multitude of Sonos equipment, those who have the chance to stay in this space will be able to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience.
By inviting consumers to immerse themselves in this sound haven, Sonos and Rough Trade offered a unique way to promote their offerings.
