Designer Ed Heritage designs the new Roll and Tilt lamp that delivers a unique interactive activation process. The lighting system does not have an on and off switch implemented as the entire piece acts as an activation switch itself. The design structure functions as a seesaw and tilts backward and forward to turn on and off. When the side of the illumination touches the base foundation, it lights up -- when it leans backward off the base, then it switches off.
This challenges the conceptual norm of a lamp switch that can interfere with design details -- the Roll and Tilt lamp by Ed Heritage offers a much more playful approach of illumination to any given space. The lighting system boasts a monochromatic color scheme to be versatile in many settings.
