All Your Drivers Belong to Us With the Robotic Audi TTS
Michael Hines — April 2, 2010 — Autos
Audi, Volkswagen and Stanford have decided to push the limits of robotic driving by sending up a robotic Audi TTS up Pike's Peak. This will be legendary.
This may seem like a fool's errand, but Audi is actually trying to see how much they can integrate robotic control into future models for safety purposes. Think about it--if the robotic Audi TTS owns Pike's Peak, it could own anything. I'd trust my robot Audi to pull over when I'm asleep or counter-steer for me. I welcome the rise of the machines with arms wide open.
