Ralph Lauren has launched a heavily-animated and interactive RLX iPad App to promote its Ralph Lauren Extreme apparel line. The new digital lookbook aims to engage users in giving their fingers a work out of their own by integrating rich, multi-touch capabilities. The app not only features the new spring collection but lets users interact with the sportswear to experience the clothing's athletic abilities.
iPad users can reveal the vibrant line by using their fingers to swipe in the colors against the black-and-white images. They can also tap the screen to freeze the models in midair while holding acrobatic poses. A quick blow into the tablet's mic demonstrates the "light-as-air" fabrics in billowing action.
Through these high-performing experiences, the RLX iPad App displays the agility, power, speed and comfort of the athletic apparel line.
