The Ritz Carlton in Charlotte Unveils an 8 Ft Tall Macaron Holiday Tree

Christmas gets cultural at the Ritz Carlton, Charlotte that has put an edible 8 feet tall Christmas tree on display crafted out of 8,000 macarons.

This deliciously festive tree took six months of planning and 58 hours of preparation. The hotel's pastry team put in extra work by crafting this elegant design out of the traditional French macaron opposed to the American ones. Keeping in line with the customs of Christmas, the tree is decked out in traditional Christmas color macarons and is to be accompanied by a display of a candy cane-red showpiece sleigh pulled by a herd of all-chocolate reindeer. Designed by Executive Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage and Culinary Jon Farace, the Ritz Carlton Macaron Holiday Tree is a festive way to promote the hotel's new Bar Cocoa dessert boutique.
