This boozy frozen treat features a riesling ice cream flavor made from scratch with the addition of pear and ginger to give a zesty kick. Unconventionally, this ice cream flavor incorporates the light sweet taste of riesling wine into the ice cream to add tartness that perfectly contrasts the zesty sweetness of the other fresh ingredients. The ice cream can easily be made in a blender by adding chopped ginger, sugar, lemon juice, salt, freshly sliced pairs and a cup and a half of Riesling.

The ice cream does have an alcohol content of 12% making a sweet frozen treat perfect for adults.
