Coffee-Replaced Palm Oils

Revive Eco is a company that uses coffee grounds to replace Palm oil

Revive Eco was recently launched by two Scottish entrepreneurs who aim to substantially replace the use of palm oils with coffee grounds. This radical innovation not only seeks to reduce waste, but also to decrease the dangerous effects of extracting palm oils. Palm oils are used to make a variety of everyday products, including shampoo, soap, and lotion. However, the process to extract the oil leads to deforestation and loss of habit for countless species around the world.

The founders of Revive Eco, Kennedy and Moore, have discovered a way to extracted oils from coffee grounds that would otherwise be discarded as waste and sent to the landfill. With coffee already being produced and discarded, the introduction of presupposing the coffee ground waste helps to eliminate the unsustainable practice of palm oil extraction.
