This retro-inspired patisserie in Wroclaw, Poland is the perfect place to eat a sophisticated treat.

With walls covered in pink velvet, 'Nanan' looks like a mix between a Wes Anderson film set and an Old Hollywood hair salon. Designed by 'Buck.Studio,' the project takes inspiration from the shop's signature dish; the eclair. With an oval-shaped center island where the treats sit on display, curved doorways and bespoke lamps of the same shape, the space is undeniably feminine. Pushing design to this extreme seems totally modern in this context. It looks soft and feminine but also refined with brass detailing throughout. This project is especially unique in that the retro-inspired patisserie space very clearly defines the brand while referencing the aesthetic of its sweet desserts.
