Spire London is a residential skyscraper, set to be constructed in east London by HOK architects, that will comprise a mix of over 850 social and private apartments in its 67 stories.

In addition to its record-breaking 234-meter height, what makes this particular residential skyscraper a unique project is the fact that it will offer a blend of housing options that will include social housing for lower-income residents on the lower levels as well as more fancy private apartments located from the 8th floor up to the 67th floor. Both sets of tenants will be able to enjoy access to an outdoor patio a games room, event spaces and other facilities.

This architectural project is a great example of mixed housing being presented in a skyscraper structure, something which could become more common in urban environments going forward.
