The New Renault Formula One Car Features a Brand New Power Unit

The R.S.16 is the new Renault Formula One vehicle, set to take its place on the grid for the upcoming F1 season which kicks off in Melbourne, Australia in the month of March.

This vehicle weighs weighs around 145 kg, which is the minimum allowed weight for Formula One vehicles. The vehicle enjoys up to 874 horsepower of juice that is channeled to the rear Pirelli tires via an eight-speed semi-automatic paddleshift gearbox that will be manned by the new driving team consisting of Dane Kevin Magnussen and Briton Jolyon Palmer.

With a fresh power unit, this Renault Formula One will be bidding to power its team to better performances than those seen in recent times.
