Although Christmas day has come and passed, these still seasonally appropriate reindeer donuts are a great way to get rid of any leftover eggnog you might have sticking around before the New Year. Created by Courtney C. at the food blog Fork to Belly, the recipe for white chocolate and eggnog reindeer donuts makes a delightful winter dessert or sweet snack.
The holiday treat calls for two cups of eggnog as well as festive flavors including nutmeg and cinnamon. The anime-style decorating also adds a cute and cartoonish effect to the donut design. Unlike other reindeer-themed baking, this version is white instead of brown and uses clever candy canes for the antlers.
Although eggnog is a staple this time of year, incorporating it into a dessert puts a new spin on the donut.
