A new study is suggesting that recycled LCD TVs may have a chemical in them to help save lives. The polyviynl-alcohol (PVS) found inside of LCD TVs are actually beneficial for humans and help starve off infections and viruses.

Scientists are becoming more and more creative in their efforts to invent new drugs, and this one is particularly cool because the broken TVs are being recycled rather then sitting in a dump.

Implications - With so many new technologies coming out each day, consumers are looking for the most advanced ones. Products that push the limits on what is possible appeal to shoppers who want to stay on the cutting edge of development.
