Reinterpeted Car Classics

Recollection Quartett is an Extreme Experiment with Mercedes-Benz

Recollection Quartett is a project that took on four experimental fashion designers and tasked them with exploring four models from the Mercedes-Benz' Young Classics collection. The four designers involved in this collision of fashion and autos are Henrik Vibskov, Bernhard Willhelm, Mikio Sakabe and Peter Pilotto.

The Recollection Quartett resulted in uniquely bizarre sets that are wacky, whimsical representations of the selected cars' functions and characteristics.

Implications - Consumers look for products that are both classic and innovative. Familiar items have the ability of evoking nostalgia, while ones that feature new designs generate excitement. In order to attract a wider audience, companies could integrate both of these elements into their products.
