High schools looking to teach teenagers just how tough being a parent is are going to want to invest in the RealCare Robot Baby 3. This robotic baby, made by RealityWorks, is designed to be as real as possible. In addition to looking the part, the robot baby is programmed to be fussy and can track the performance of its parents. For starters, the baby is programmed to randomly cry throughout the day and night. If the parents take two minutes or more to respond, then that delay is noted.
The fussy baby could need to be burped, changed or just soothed. Parents wear a bracelet that monitors their actions and ensures that they don't take turns caring for the RealCare Robot Baby 3. In addition to the normal baby, the company also sells a fetal alcohol syndrome baby, drug-affected baby and a shaken baby.
