Infant Mood-Tracking Devices

FirstAscent's 'Ainenne' Tracks Crying Patterns to Determine Emotions

'FirstAscent,' the Japanese baby tech product manufacturer, has created the 'Ainenne,' an advanced AI-powered infant sleep monitor. The Ainenne is intended to be placed near where a baby sleeps so that it can monitor the baby's crying patterns, movement patterns, and sleeping patterns. This data can be viewed on the Ainenne's companion application. Additionally, the Ainenne uses this data to determine the current emotional state of your baby.

Some examples of the emotional states the Ainenne is capable of determining are tiredness, happiness, hunger level, boredness, and comfort. FirstAscent has stated that the Ainenne determines these qualities with roughly 80% accuracy.

Aside from the AI-powered mood detection, the Ainenne also boasts several features that improve the overall comfort of the baby. For example, the device can emit a white noise that helps block harmful noises and sounds while a baby is sleeping. On top of this, the device has a setting that allows it to wake up the baby with a bright, warm light, instead of a ringtone. This is a more natural way to wake up a baby and will lead to a more comfortable infant.
