School lunches don't have the best reputation when it comes to both quality and nutrition, so the 'Real Food Lunch Club' from Toronto-based catering company 'Real Food for Real Kids' is aiming to help provide healthy eating for kids. The program brings daily lunches to kids in 12 schools across the city, providing popular and healthy meals made with real foods.
Real Food for Real Kids has ample experience feeding kids, and the company has learned just what kids like and dislike. The menu includes classic kid-favorites like 'Mac Chick n' Cheese' with carrot puree or a vegetarian pasta bake with a tasty red lentil sauce. The meals are all prepared in Real Food's tree nut- and peanut-free kitchen, thus adhering to provincial standards, and they're served by a Real Food Lunch Club Coach who serves up the healthy meals with a smile.
